Back to the beginning.... How it all started?

Perhaps this event already made its announcement unconsciously in my mind a while ago when I came across an incident where a 14 year girl was suffering from leukemia [Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)]. And financially less fortunate, her family needed some help in Mumbai, India through one of the most reputed organization Sir Ratan Tata Charitable Trust. I personally did some donation and so did many others. I realized that to be a hero, one does not need super-powers. All one needs to be the positive change in the world in other's lives as well as our own life, is just a bit of love and compassion. ...

As the great Poet said:

The quality of mercy is not strained.
It droppeth as the gentle rain from
Heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest:
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.

William Shakespeare 1600

Let us all give a little bit of mercy to others, and in the process find ourselves energized and blessed.

So today morning after finishing my Yoga and Pranayama on the mountain in Discovery Bay, I was looking at the great ocean towards the Peng Chau Island and feeling how fortunate I am to treasure these moments of life filled with such a beautiful feeling, despite ups and downs in my own life. It was around 7am in the morning and pinkish radiant sun suddenly appeared amongst the cloudy sky. It was different today looking at the Sun. Suddenly the Sun said to me, as if speaking through my unconscious mind, Sachi go and organize a Sun Salutation Event for charity reasons and help those suffering from cancer around the world. All those past memories of me teaching mass yoga started appearing e.g. in Taiwan when I taught at Wego International School around 500 participants showed up. In Shanghai where group of Buddhist monks, Industrialists, Scientists, Professionals, chairman of Hainan airlines from all over Asia participated for my Yoga and Kundalini meditations class. Indeed that was a lovely experience as that's what I always liked to do, giving free knowledge in abundance. This is my belief and core value. The organizer and leader of this group Master Nan (www.nanhuaijin.org), announced me as a Sakyamuni Buddha, a giver of wisdom and knowledge in abundance. Well honestly I do not know if I am really a Buddha, and that is not my concern. For me what's important is just reaching out and taking a step towards all those whom I can help with my life-changing experiences and realizations, which for me happen to be through Yoga. Never would I have thought that it would become such a core part of the bliss and vitality of my life when I was practicing as a child, imitating my uncle at the age of around 5. And then later was encouraged by my yogi neighbor and teachers in school who all repeatedly encouraged me to further advance in all aspects of yoga. I remember holding headstand for more than 2 hours regularly around the age of 10 or so, representing my school in various inter school yoga demonstrations and competitions... It was all great fun and a source of joy, in a very natural and spontaneous life-loving-way... The atmosphere was very positive and encouraging, and I realized just how one's life can be greatly enriched when one is surrounded with a super-charged atmosphere and support from caring human beings. Atmosphere is very important! Time flowed like a river with those enchanting memories of the past. I realized as I looked back at my childhood, that I am truly blessed.

Well so this morning suddenly it all started making sense, and it was as if I was summoned by the Sun through my own unconscious mind. So to help people spiritually and to help make the world a better place, one person, one breath at a time, in a collective effort for a non-profit-charity event, I would like to hold this 108 Sun-Salutation and other great charitable yoga events regularly to share my knowledge, experiences, and bliss, enriching the lives of others and my own as well, and help bring people closer together. The life-changing experiences that I have been blessed with and realized knowledge comes from higher sources during my deep meditation and Kundalini awakenings at the age of 18. I promise I will share those experiences with all of you next time. Nonetheless I am respectful and thankful to all the teachers from whom I have learnt in the past and will continue to learn from in the future. The ocean Knowledge is endless and it's shores are never reached.

Yoga, just like the breath of life itself, is for everyone, whatever your religion, belief, non-belief, or creed. Just as I have been on the receiving end of mercy so many times from past and present teachers, gurus, acharyas, friends and well-wishers, so it is my great honor and I am overjoyed that I now have the blessing and duty to give mercy to others as it was given to me, freely, and devote my knowledge, experience and skill in a charitable and worthy cause that I hope will touch the lives of everyone involved, and like the pebble in the pond, create a ripple effect that will help make the world a better place, full of warmth, joy, love and compassion. I am delighted to do my part, and my duty, to contribute to the collective good, and I invite you to come and participate, share, and experience the joy and rebirth of giving freely out of love to others, just as the Sun shines his life-giving rays of warmth and energy down upon us like a smile, freely, each and everyday.

See you soon!
